Rescuing animals has been a part of my life as far back as grade school when I rescued my first kitten. Rescuing is who I am so I guess being co-founder of Claws and Paws Rescue was only natural. Funny how life brings us to where we are meant to be. I’m passionate about the no-kill movement and take every life that comes to us seriously. Claws and Paws Rescue fills my heart and every life we save is a testament to our love and commitment to the animals in our care.

My mother used to say “when you see her, she will either have an armful of shoes or an armful of animals”. Animals and their welfare are one of my life long passions and I’m able to help many animals through my work with the rescue. I’m a very emotional person when it comes to seeing an animal who has that look of loss or fear in their eyes. When I see animal abuse, as we often do, you can count on me to fight tooth and nail to make sure no one ever hurts that animal again. This is why I am proud to serve on the volunteer Board of Directors for Claws and Paws Rescue.
