Additional information: Biggie’s rescuers found him wandering downtown Kalamazoo. Biggie’s owners never surfaced, so rescuers are fostering him instead of placing him in an over-crowded shelter. Biggie is a sweet, gentle and extremely loving couch potato. Unfortunately, the foster’s resident dog is highly anxious and reactive and does not want another dog in the home. Biggie would do well in an apartment or house, hopefully with a fenced yard. He gets a daily walk and fetch time (his favorite). He loves other dogs and would do best with older children because of his size. Fosters have met with their certified behaviorist, so Biggie will have a smoother transfer to his new home. Biggie has never shown aggression to fosters, strangers or other dogs (even aggressive ones). He does get nervous at the vet and accepts a muzzle comfortably. He doesn’t like his feet touched unless he knows you. Biggie comes with all vet records, day-camp notes, written behavior assessment, muzzle, harness, leashes, treats, bed, food and complete transparency. Fosters will also help will help transport him to his new and loving home. Biggie had a rough start. Hopefully someone with a big heart will take this boy into their heart.
